​Precept Bible Study Method
We believe that a relationship with God comes through knowing His Word, and that means studying it hands-on. Precept's Method explains the nuts and bolts of our studies so that every student can discover God's truth for themselves. These steps - observation, interpretation, application - are numbered for clarity, but it's important to remember that you don't have to use them in order. As you study, you should expect to move fluidly between steps and respond to the text as it is presented.

Kings and Prophets Series Part 2-3-4

Precept's Kings & Prophets studies (Parts 2-4) cover the transition from unified Israel to divided kingdoms (1 & 2 Kings), focusing on the reigns of Solomon, Rehoboam, and the rise of prophets like Elijah and Elisha, emphasizing themes of divided hearts, God's covenant, judgment for disobedience, and miraculous divine intervention in a corrupt era, urging  to fully follow God amidst national spiritual decline. Part 2 starts with Solomon's reign and divided kingdom, Part 3 covers Elijah's ministry and intense judgments, and Part 4 delves into Elisha's powerful miracles, contrasting the prophets' faithfulness with the kings' failures.
